Set on Newfound Lake, this park offers a beach, swimming,
fishing,
boating, canoeing and a scenic walking trail. The beach is a half
mile long,
there is a boat ramp, playground and picnic area.
Red Hill
Bean Road, Center Harbor, NH
A 3.5 mile trail which follows a dirt road up to a
fire tower.
Audubon - Paradise Point Nature Center

Great for kids, this nature center on Newfound Lake
offers 5 trails,
live animals, a store and a library. Events throughout the summer.
Open Memorial Day - Labor Day.
Squam Range

This area contains a number of trails. More information

Ellacoya Beach State Park

The prominent feature of this park is its long beach
on the shore of Lake
Winnipesaukee. Visitors will also enjoy swimming, boating, canoeing,
and
other lakeside activities. A camping area is available for RV's
only.
Stonedam Island Natural Area

Self-guided nature trails are the centerpiece of this
nature center, which
focuses on conservation programs. Educational events are scheduled
at the
site throughout the season. If you are lucky, you may spot a deer head,
poking through the trees. Open July - Labor Day.
Blue Job Mountain
Crown Point Road, Rochester, NH
Trail takes about 2 hours to traverse and offers scenic
views from the tower
at the mountain's peak. A portion of the trail ambles through
blueberry fields.
White Lake State Park

A popular park for campers, this park features three
public campsites with
room for 200 tents. Visitors will enjoy the beach on White Lake,
swimming,
boating and canoeing, fishing, and hiking trails. Winter activities
include
cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails. Of particular interest
is a
forest of NH pines spread over 72 acres, a National Natural Landmark.
